Love on the Brain By Ali Hazelwood

I'm going to start out by saying that I do not know much about science except for what I have learned in school, and even then I don't remember too much of what I learned. Ali Hazelwood did such a good job with this story! It was easy to fall in love with the characters. I found myself sitting down for just a half hour reading the book and the pages were just turning away! If you love The Love Hypotheses than you will love this one! I love how Ali Hazelwood used her knowledge of science and added it into these books. It was such a unique thing to do.

Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes. I just love to read about the back stories of the characters and see how they go from despising each other to falling madly in love with one another.

Bee is such a great character. I love her sense of humor and her quirkiness and she loves cats!

"I call them my Quasimotoes" this sentenced literally made me laugh out loud. This was just one of the several funny things that Bee said.

Bee is a huge fan of Marie Curie and talks a lot about her throughout the book. Which is fine with me because I do not know too much about Marie and it was interesting to learn some facts about her. From the very beginning I was rooting Bee on with her new job. She made me excited about science and this new project that she would be working on.

I liked Levi from the start. I know that Bee kept saying that Levi hated her, but it was pretty clear from the beginning that he did not. He did some pretty sweet things for Bee to show that he cared for her including; telling their boss that she was the best in her field, or saving her when she got locked inside a cemetery. (You'll have to read the book to find out how that happened!)

"If tomorrow you see Annie and Tim and feel...like you felt today. Just take my hand ok?"

These two were brought on by NASA to collaborate on a project together. I was fully invested in their project and rooting them on the entire time. I could not wait to see how it turned out. But I think I was a little more invested in their love story and could not wait to see how they finally fell in love. Bee's past had her hesitant to fall in love. She was scared. She just could not do it.

"Bee. You want to belong. You want someone who won't let go. I'm it. I didn't let go of you for years, and I didn't even have you. But you need to let me."    *Swoon*

At the very end of this book there is a twist that you would never expect. I was like WOW! I cannot believe it. But your going to have to read the book for yourself in order to find out!
